Oh, now isn't that impressive?
You've heard it all before; self-decided outcasts from virtually different worlds come together for an epic -- and totally awesome -- adventure. But while some peers may settle for lukewarm romance, this leading man and his leading lady share in kicking ass, taking names, and general pirating. All things considered, they just might be bringing sexy back.
The remarkable thing about the enfant Final Fantasy XII fan community is how quickly it has taken to Balthier, while Fran usually warrants no more than a paragraph. As much as Balthier loves his spotlight, I don't think he'd stand for his leading lady reduced to such a trivial role. The pair's like peanut butter and jelly; you can take them separately if you really want to, but everyone knows that they're at their Bold & Delicious best when together. She's his co-pilot--the Bonnie to his Clyde. You can't fully discuss one without the other.
And so this site won't even try.
Is this a couple shrine? Not really. It's a tribute to two members of Final Fantasy XII's ensemble. Packaged as a duo, the relationship they share -- their rock-steady partnership -- is an important factor to understanding these characters, but it is not the sole focus. We like all things Balthier and Fran here, regardless of whether or not they're Doing It.
