Considering where we are in the, uh, development of the FFXII fandom, affiliation is open but very selective. If you'd like to affiliate, please send me an e-mail at lalaloveppears@yahoo.com (for the most part, affiliation requests sent through any other method will be ignored). FFXII sites are preferred, but other FF character shrines are acceptable, as well.
Carpe Diem
Chloe's fantastic Basch fan center (shrine, LJ community, support pant tassels, and now fanlisting). You've probably already seen it, but you should totally go see it again--chances are she's added something new in your absence. Having played the Japanese version and watched others play it in English, Chloe not only has an understanding of the character one can only get from multiple play-throughs, but she also has a unique, cross-cultural perspective that makes for an interesting read. Chloe knows her Basch; with a bit of her help, you will too.
Rico Suave
This is an Al-Cid shrine. It is called Rico Suave. If that's not enough to make you rush over there right now, know that Alex has found a legitimate tie between Final Fantasy XII's flamboyant prince and penguins. If that's not enough, there is something seriously wrong with you. Alex has a superb track record when it comes to RPG shrines, tackling tough characters like FFIX's Kuja and Chrono Trigger's Frog. Rico Suave is a notably sillier project dedicated to a notably sillier character, but it still benefits from her attention to detail, careful research, and well-crafted writing.
Because Alex is really smart and busy with graduate/postgraduate studies, an archive of Rico Suave is hosted at a third-party domain, Soul-Saviour.org.
Lament Story
This Ashe shrine is hot off the presses and already offering great reads about the Dynast Princess. Chisato has plenty of practice discussing Final Fantasy princesses with her Garnet shrine, but she still gives Ashe her own voice. This is Ashe's story, and Chisato definitely gets it right. Lament Story also has a healthy selection of desktop goodies and web graphics for its visitors. Even if you aren't into the whole reading thing, if you're a follower of the Lady Ashe, you're bound to find something you like at this shrine.
